| | Eight years ago today, our family was given a tremendous gift. Renee Marie Hiler was driven from day one. From trying to stand at three weeks, to running at seven months, to stuttering at one because she couldn't get her full paragraphs out fast enough, to now crying if she misses one word on a spelling pre-test or hating to estimate in math because it drives her crazy to be wrong-this girl is amazing and wonderful and I can't wait to see how God uses her. We are so blessed to have this gift in our family.

She was hilarious. She would sit on my leg and lean forward on my arms until she was standing. She would stand until her little legs were shaking and then she'd fall back. Then she'd do it all over again. We would just laugh and laugh...The look on her face in the first one shows it all...
